The International Paper Exchange, Inc (IPE) was formed in 1989. A successful real estate investment firm, WCI, Inc. and a group of private investors joined together for this venture. IPE was created as an avenue of investment on the Secondary Market with the goal of creating an aggressive portfolio of whole loans. Over the next two decades IPE established a whole loan acquisitions firm focusing on real estate backed notes. In 1998 Assets, Inc. was formed to specialize in the preservation of assets backed by whole loans merged with IPE to form IPE-AI.

Always at the forefront of innovation and technology, IPE-AI created PlanLinx, a proprietary embeddable software application that links photos to floor plans in an intuitive interface. This technology, together with a national network of asset inspectors and floor plan drafters has provided resources in asset evaluation that IPE-AI has used in evaluating assets within it’s own portfolio. In 2005, PlanLinx started offering these services to other consumers and is now used by thousands of customers across the world. Seamlessly embeddable into websites, the interface is used by real estate companies, rental firms, complexes and communities.

Today, IPE-AI maintains a leadership position on the Secondary Market as an independent investment firm specializing in the acquisition of loans. Financially strong and growing, IPE-AI's total revenues continue to increase. Our excess net capital is a measure of IPE-AI's solvency and ability to invest in our business and portfolio.
